Q. Since the KAN-DU can easily grind large stumps as well as the small ones, how can it get to large stumps in fenced-in areas, where other grinders can't?
A. The 29" Machine Width with front wheels rotated to the inside frame position allows the KAN-DU to go through narrow gates, along narrow pathways and through 30" doorways to get to hard-to-reach stumps in fenced-in areas.

Q. Does the KAN-DU slowly crawl to jobs like the other stump cutters?
A. The Positive Traction Drive System and Two-Stage Hydraulic Pump allows the KAN-DU to easily climb hills and ramps in the lower stage and to move quickly (at a fast walk) over flatter surfaces in the higher stage, giving the operator the ability to get to remote stumps more quickly than with other stump grinders. Also, the Adjustable Travel Speed allows the KAN-DU to move at a fast walk in open areas, compared with the crawl speed of other machines. In many instances, the KAN-DU can be unloaded, quickly moved to the stump, completely grind the stump and be reloaded in the same amount of time required by other grinders just to get to the stump.

Q. Why should I buy a Kan-Du instead of other stump grinders in the same price range?
A. The Kan-Du is faster (travel speed & grinding speed); also, the Kan-Du will gain access to stumps that the others will have to pass up. The Kan-Du grinds as low as 24" deep; this allows you to charge double the price to grind down that deep. Kan-Du will get twice as many jobs done in a day.
